The story Sula by Toni Morrison. Sula undergoes many changes. Sula goes from an innocent child who is dependent on others to an independent woman. The circumstances she faces changes her. She is looked upon as being rebellious by the community and some of the people want her out of their community. However, others admire her new found freedom so to speak, that they don't have. Many of the people in the community are stuck in their old ways and repeat the mistakes or lifestyles of their family members. Sula was the only one who went to college and was not married or had kids. Hopefully this helps.

Literary characters such as Elizabeth Bennet, Ebenezer Scrooge, and Harry Potter undergo significant personality changes throughout their respective stories. These transformations are driven by their experiences, relationships, and the lessons they learn. This character development often emphasizes the themes of redemption, independence, and personal growth within the narrative.
