What is the last number?

There is no last number. If anyone ever comes in and tells you that he has the highest number, ask him to let you see it. When he shows it to you, take it, and gently add '1 ' to it. That will give you a number that's bigger than his number, which he thought was the highest one, but really isn't.

There is no last number ... becuz its infinite

In mathematics, there is no last number because of the concept of infinity, which allows numbers to continue indefinitely. Any number can always have 1 added to it, creating a larger number, demonstrating that there is always a number greater than any given number. Thought experiments like Hilbert's Hotel illustrate how infinity can accommodate endless quantities, reinforcing this idea.
