The mean is the average, or when you add all the numbers and divide it by how many numbers there are. And the mode is how frequently some number appears in a set of numbers. (For example- 1,1,1, 4,9,1,6,13,6 ---> the mode is one.)
The difference between mean and mode is that mode is the number that shows up most often and the mean is all the numbers add up then divided by how ever many numbers you added
