When two or more forces act together on an object, what do they combine to form?

Without knowing anything about their magnitudes or directions, the only thing you can always say about thier combination is that it's the "net force" on the object.

When forces act together on an object, they combine to create the net force. The net force is the total force resulting from all individual forces, determining the object's motion. It can be calculated by adding forces in the same direction and subtracting those in opposite directions.
