Read the following passage:

John writes that the four living creatures and the elders change their song once they see the Lamb take the scroll. They each have a harp (a musical instrument used in worship) and bowls filled with incense (prayers of the saints--which are about to be fulfilled with the arrival of God's kingdom on earth). What do the living creatures and elders proclaim about the Lamb in their song? What do they say that He alone has done (see verses 8-10)?

John discovers that there is a multitude of angels--too numerous to count--surrounding the throne of God. This angelic host also proclaims the Lamb is worthy to open the scroll and reclaim control of planet earth. With the opening of the seals, God's purposes are about to be fulfilled. What is the reaction in heaven and on earth (see verses 13-14)?

In Revelation 5, the living creatures and elders proclaim the Lamb's worthiness as the one who has redeemed humanity and established a kingdom. A multitude of angels joins in, celebrating the Lamb's authority to open the scroll, prompting a universal reaction of worship in heaven and on earth. This moment demonstrates the culmination of God's redemptive plan. ;
