Once there was a cheerful little squirrel named Sammy who loved playing in the forest near his home. Every day, he would scamper around, gathering acorns and playing with his friends.
One sunny morning, Sammyβs mother reminded him to stay close to their tree and not venture too far. She said, "There are many other animals in the forest, and you should be careful." Sammy nodded quickly and dashed off, eager to play.
As he was playing, Sammy noticed a shiny object glimmering in the distance. Curiosity got the best of him, and he decided to explore. As he hopped further away, the trees around him became unfamiliar. He had never been this far from home before.
Suddenly, Sammy realized he was lost. The forest that was once filled with fun and laughter now felt big and frightening. Sammy wished he had listened to his mom and stayed close to home. Feeling worried, he sat down by a large rock and tried to remember the path he took.
After some time, he heard a familiar voice calling his name. It was his mom! She had found him and hugged him tightly.
"Oh, Sammy, Iβm so glad youβre safe!" his mother said with relief.
Sammy sighed deeply and said, "I have learnt my lesson. Iβll always listen to you and stay close from now on."
