I always think of lots of gold ornamental elements. The lines were always very curvy, reminding the viewer of wings. It's one of my least-favorite art periods, so it's the area of the museum that I avoid on the way to the modern exhibition areas!

Rococo style is characterized by elaborate ornamentation, curved lines, and a light color palette. It focuses on themes of love and nature, emphasizing intimacy in design. Notable artists include Antoine Watteau and François Boucher, who illustrated the playful nature of this art period.
