Cyrus McCormick in 1831 invented the mechanical reaper . This technique was used by a farmer in harvesting his crops. For many years farmers used a hand sickle to harvest their crops that were time-consuming and hard tasks. Before the invention of mechanical devices, the farmer used their hands in making their clothes, cutting crops. It was usually taken so much time and energy. There was many inventions happened around the world but mechanical reaper was one of them.
