If you were Orpheus, would you have looked back? Why or why not?

I can understand that Orpheus was not certain if he wasn't tricked by Hades, and if Eurydice is really following him. He also wanted to see his beloved. But the punishment for doing so was very severe, and Greek gods were usually not the ones one should trifle with, so i think that his action was reckless. I wouldn't look back, but its easier said then done.

If I were Orpheus, I would likely struggle not to look back at Eurydice due to my deep longing for her. However, knowing the severe consequences of that action, I would try to focus on reaching the surface rather than giving in to temptation. This dilemma highlights the conflict between love and obedience to divine rules, making his choice both relatable and tragic.
