How did the first pharaoh unify Egypt?

Before, Egypt was composed of two parts: Upper Egypt (Southern Egypt), and Lower Egypt (Northern Egypt). Note: The Egyptians thought that the Nile delta to the Mediterranean was the south. So King Narmer, the king of Upper Egypt conquered Lower Egypt and was successful. He established a new government, and placed himself as Pharaoh - King of the Two Egypts.

King Narmer, also known as Menes, unified Upper and Lower Egypt around 3100 BCE by conquering Lower Egypt and establishing Memphis as the capital. This unification led to the formation of a centralized government and the idea of the pharaoh as a divine ruler. The Narmer Palette serves as key evidence of this significant event in Egyptian history.
