Can someone help me with a thesis for revenge?

Revenge is a strong emotion wanting to get retaliation for a wrong a person believes has been done to him/her. The saying goes "revenge is sweet", however, it is a destructive, uncontrolled emotion that will eventually cause emotional, physical and psychological harm to all those involved.
Let me know how this works. After you state this, you have to find viable arguments to support it. Your final paragraph should restate your thesis. The use of Hamlet will work as a literary example. Hamlet was obsessed with revenge but it only led to his death, and that of many others, in the end.

A potential thesis for a topic on revenge could be 'Revenge, as a driving motivation, often leads to a cycle of retaliation and loss'. This thesis can explore instances and implications of revenge, using examples such as Shakespeare's 'Hamlet'.

A compelling thesis for an essay on revenge could be that while it appears justified, it leads to destruction for both the seeker and the target, as showcased in Shakespeare's 'Hamlet.' Supporting arguments would include the definition of revenge, its consequences as demonstrated in the play, and a strong conclusion restating the thesis. This approach provides a well-rounded examination of the theme while encouraging critical thinking.
