In the 1500s, European explorers were primarily motivated by the pursuit of Gold (wealth), God (religion), and Glory (fame). Key figures like Christopher Columbus and Vasco da Gama played significant roles in this Age of Discovery, which established trade routes and led to the colonization of various territories. These explorations had profound impacts on global trade and the interactions between Europe and the New World.
