Anthony made 6 bouquets. If he used \(\frac{3}{4}\) of a bunch of flowers for each bouquet, how many flower bunches did he need?

Answer (3)

So first you have to times 6 and 3/4 to do that you have to make a equation like 6/1 3/4=? So next you multiply six and three to get 6/1 3/4=18/? then multiply the bottom one and four to get 6/1*3/4=18/4 then simplfy to get 4 2/4 but you can't have half a bouquet of flowers so you round up to five

Anthony needs 5 bunches of flowers to make 6 bouquets, each made using 4 3 of a bunch. This is calculated by multiplying 6 by 4 3 , which gives 4 18 or 4.5 bunches. Since he cannot buy half a bunch, he rounds up to 5 bunches.
