According to the scores on the last math test, 80%, or 20 students, in the class received an A. Find the number of students in the entire class.

80% is the same as 4/5, so 4/5 of the class= 20. That means that if there was a picture, 4 parts would be shaded, and 1 would not. 1/4 of 20 is 5, so 1 part= 5 people. 5 x 5 = 25. 25 is the answer. :)

Answer
Find out the number of student the entire class.
To prove
Formula
P erce n t a g e = T o t a l v a l u e P a r t v a l u e × 100
As given
According to the scores on the last math test, 80%, or 20, of the students in the class received an A.
i.e
Percentage = 80 %
Part value = 20
put in the formula
80 = T o t a l v a l u e 20 × 100
T o t a l v a l u e = 80 20 × 100
T o t a l v a l u e = 80 2000
**Total value = 25 **
Therefore the total number of student in the entire class be 25.

The total number of students in the class is 25. We found this by using the percentage formula to calculate it based on the number of students who received an A. Specifically, with 20 students receiving an A, which is 80% of the class, we determined the class size to be 25 students.
