A gas, HCl is a simple covalent structure which has little intermolecular attraction so this is easily overcome (pretty much the same reasons as the other one I just answered for you)
Hydrogen chloride is expected to be a gas at room temperature and pressure due to its low boiling point of approximately -85.09 °C and weak dipole-dipole interactions. As a polar molecule, it remains in gaseous form under standard conditions, while its solubility in water highlights its chemical behavior. Therefore, HCl is a gas at room temperature.
