Colonists reacted to the Stamp Act with strong resistance, including protests, boycotts of British goods, and the formation of groups like the Sons of Liberty. They organized the Stamp Act Congress to voice their grievances, highlighting their demand for representation in governance. This united resistance played a crucial role in the eventual repeal of the Stamp Act in 1766.
