Which statements are true according to the order of operations?

Choose exactly two answers that are correct.

A. \(7 \cdot 6 + 4 = 7 \cdot 10 = 70\)

B. \(16 - (4 + 7) = 12 + 7 = 19\)

C. \(10 + (6 \div 3) = 10 + 2 = 12\)

D. \(2 + 5 \cdot 7 = 2 + 35 = 37\)

Answer (2)

To solve these you have to follow the orders of operation(BEDMAS), which means brackets, exponents, division, multiplication, addition, subtraction all in that order. A) This is false. 7x6+4=46 and does not equal 7x10 or 70. B) This is false as well. The answer haste be 19 and 16-(4+7) does not equal 19. You add up what is in the brackets first and then subtract. This means that C and D have to be true. C) 10+(6/3)=12 10+2=12 True D) 2+5x7=37 2+35=37 Also true

The two correct statements according to the order of operations are C: 10 + ( 6 รท 3 ) = 12 and D: 2 + 5 โ‹… 7 = 37 . Statements A and B are false due to incorrect calculations. Therefore, the correct answers are C and D.
