If a handsaw does the same amount of work on a log as a chainsaw does, which has more power? Why?

I think a chainsaw has more power because the handsaw has to have more strength to get more done unlike the chainsaw, which already has power so it's easier. Hope it helped!

The chainsaw has more power than the handsaw because it completes the same amount of work in less time. Power is the rate of doing work, so the faster a tool can perform a task, the more powerful it is. Thus, while both tools may do the same amount of work, the chainsaw performs it more quickly, resulting in higher power.
