Is she correct? Explain.

No she is not correct if she said 200+20+23 was the same as 200+40+3 she would have been correct.

Sue is not correct because 200 + 20 + 23 equals 243 , while 200 + 30 + 3 equals 233 . Therefore, the two expressions do not yield the same result. The calculations show that the sums are different due to the differing values added to 200.
