Solving two-step inequalities:

\[ d = 5v + m \]

Solve for \( v \).

Answer (3)

Not an inequality but d-m=5v. (d-m)/5=v. Basically just isolate the variable

d-m=5v. (d-m)/5=v ;

We can isolate v in the equation d = 5 v + m to get v = 5 d − m  . By subtracting m from d and then dividing by 5, we find v in terms of d and m. This allows you to calculate v when d and m are known.
