Lets solve it 5p-8=1+5p-9 Lets simply if 5p-8=5p-8 /+8 add 8 both sides 5p=5p Now lets think about it. Its no matter what number we substitute to p, because on both sides we have 5p. It means that equation has infinitely many solution.

-8= 1+5p -9 -> -5p=1-9+8 -> -5p=9-9 -> 5p

The equation results in − 8 = − 8 , which is always true, meaning there is an infinite number of solutions for p . Therefore, any value for p satisfies the equation. This indicates that the equation is dependent and does not have a unique solution.
