Find the difference:

\[ 7 \frac{7}{8} - 3 \frac{1}{4} \]

Asked by kroller73

Answer (3)

(7 + 7/8) - (3 + 1/4) = 7 + 7/8 - 3 - 1/4 = 7 - 3 + 7/8 - 1/4 = (7 - 3) + (7/8 - 2/8) = 4 + 5/8
Hope this helps! :)
