A point(.) to separate the ones places from tenths place in a decimal. ;
The decimal point (.) is the symbol used to separate the ones place from the tenths place in decimal numbers. It helps to distinguish the whole number part from its fractional part. For example, in the number 56.98, the decimal point separates 56 (ones) from 98 (tenths and hundredths).
