The carrying capacity for humans in a region can increase through improved water availability, advanced food production methods, technological innovations, better infrastructure, public health improvements, and enhanced education. These factors work together to support larger populations without degrading the environment. Factors like technological advancements and better agricultural practices have historically led to greater population densities in developed regions.
