Area or a circle A= 3.14 (pi) multiplied by the radius to the second power So if a circles radius is 3 cm it would be pi multiplied by 9 which equals 28.27 cm2 Circumference C= pi multiplied by the diameter

To find the corcumference of the circle the formula is 2(pi)r to find the area of the circle the formula is (pi)(r)(r)

To find the circumference of a circle, use the formulas C = π d or C = 2 π r . The area is determined using the formula A = π r 2 , where you square the radius and multiply by pi. Examples illustrate how these formulas are applied with specific measurements.
