How did the Constitution fix the problem of having no executive branch?

The Constitution was created because the Articles of Confederation failed. The Articles had only one branch of government, while the Constitution had 3: the judicial branch, the legislative branch, and the executive branch. It fixed problems because it created the branch itself.

The Constitution established an executive branch led by a president to address the lack of executive power under the Articles of Confederation. It created a system for electing the president through the Electoral College and assigned specific powers and responsibilities to the executive branch. This structure aimed to ensure effective governance while maintaining a system of checks and balances among branches of government.
