Does the radius squared equal the diameter?

No, the radius is only half of the diameter. So unless the radius is two, that would not work.

No. Let's say that the radius is 8 cm. 8 cm squared would be 64 cm. But you calculate the diameter by doing the formula Radius x 2. Hope this helped!
