The main reason for the French and Indian was was C, France and Britain disagreed over land claims and the fur trade in North America. While the French and Indians hunted and trapped for the fur trade, the British/colonist settled and farmed the land which destroyed and disrupted hunting grounds. This of course brought the dispute.

The French and Indian War was primarily caused by disputes between France and Britain over land claims and the fur trade in North America, particularly in the Ohio River Valley. As both countries sought to expand their territories and influence, tensions grew, leading to military conflict. The war ultimately resulted in British dominance in North America after the 1763 Treaty of Paris.
