How did the Depression affect women and children?

I believe you are talking about the Great Depression so I'll answer it correspondingly, however, if it's not, I apologize on my behalf. Women were not able to do their daily chores due to the dust bowls and storms outside, and they could not farm meaning no food > starving children. The Great Depression also caused poverty to hit many places, and it caused them to move to other places.

The Great Depression significantly impacted women and children, causing women to seek employment under difficult circumstances amid societal resistance. Children faced the harsh reality of leaving school for work, leading to health issues due to malnutrition. Together, these changes reshaped traditional family roles and the overall experience of childhood in America.
