Describe how the ocean plays a role in stabilizing Earth's weather conditions.

The ocean affects the earth’s climate by utilizing the sun’s energy. Based on the amount of the Sun’s energy that is absorbed by the ocean, multiple things can happen. For example in California, the sun heats the Pacific Ocean which heats the winds, which brings the warm climate to the state. Also, the ocean’s play a major role in the water cycle. The amount of precipitation falling on an area can affect its weather and climate. hope this helps!!!!

The ocean stabilizes Earth's weather by absorbing and storing solar energy, distributing heat via currents, regulating local climates, contributing to the water cycle, and affecting storm development. The high heat capacity of oceans leads to milder coastal climates compared to inland areas and influences precipitation patterns globally. Changes in ocean properties can also impact weather phenomena, creating a complex interaction between the ocean and atmospheric conditions.
