I think the theme of this book is Friendship , Power and Language .
the problem in the story was a fifth grader who dislikes his teacher. He invents a new word that all of the children love but the teacher andschool authorities dislike. His word eventually gets included in the dictionary, but the initial conflict it causes is the book's central problem.

In "Frindle," key story elements include characters, particularly Nick Allen, and the conflict between his creative idea and his teacher's authority. The story showcases how Nick's invention of the word 'frindle' leads to tension with his teacher, illustrating external conflict in the narrative. These elements help communicate themes related to language and the struggle for personal expression against societal norms.
