How do the mitochondria and vacuole work together?

I don't know if you have the answer yet, but the mitochondria allow all other cells to function properly. Without the mitochondria providing power to the cell, it would be lifeless. I'm not sure how the storage of water can be helpful to the mitochondria exactly, but I'm sure there are some underlying ideas.

Mitochondria produce energy through cellular respiration, while vacuoles store water, nutrients, and waste, helping maintain cell structure. They work together to manage energy and maintain ion balance, which is essential for cell growth and function. Essentially, mitochondria provide the energy that allows vacuoles to perform their storage and structural roles effectively.
