Six friends share 5 small pizzas. Each friend first eats half of a pizza. How much more pizza does each friend need to eat to finish all the pizzas and share them equally?

Answer (3)

If there were 5 small pizzas 2 friends eat 1 pizza so 6 friends eat 3 pizzas there will only be enough for 4 friends to eat so there would need to be 6 pizzas for each to be equally...

Each of the 6 friends initially eats half a pizza, totaling 3 pizzas consumed. After that, 2 pizzas remain, which can be equally shared among the friends, meaning each friend will need to eat another third of a pizza. Therefore, each friend needs to eat 3 1 more pizza.
