What is the element hydrogen made from?

"Elements" are not made of other substances. They are 'elemental', or 'elementary". They're the basic building blocks of more complex substances. If you take hydrogen apart, you find nothing there but hydrogen atoms.

Hydrogen is the simplest chemical element, consisting solely of hydrogen atoms, each with one proton and one electron. It is not made from other substances, as elements are the basic building blocks of matter. There are isotopes of hydrogen, but they are variations of hydrogen, not different elements.
